Haul porn

OK guys. I haven't complained about PMS in years. I made a concerted effort. But my PMS right now is too overwhelming for me to even think straight... So please, first forgive the fact that this is totally blurry... and also that I seem to get the sniffles and can't co-ordinate looking, filming, man-handling and talking at the same time...
And yes you did hear me say I'm a slut for coins.
Why does this have 52 views already? how is that possible?

Where's the last bit? don't matter you can't see anything anyways...
So instead here's some shitty blurry pix.
Which I also took with my iPad in low light, so.
Where do I start? This double-sided hand.
I tried to take pix of the things I didn't get in the video before I realized the whole video was blurry.
I just had to stop for a minute to do "convict pushups" at the request of Mr. Devices. Yeah, no idea.
So most earrings actually have matches but they're all over. Still I love singles. That one there has a HINGE at the bottom with the hinged bit missing. Squee!  The photopin is the size of a bean. I like to imagine it's Cidne or Adriene smiling at me.
They proly don't actually look that old. Oh those opaline cabs are sew-on which means no need to mount, yay.
Lookit the bear. It's tiny. And the Tuareg earring. My friend that recently went to Morocco met some Tuaregs and ... Berbers? Something like that, like people you wouldn't think you could just meet. The coin's from South Africa. I have a semi-crush on South African Trevor Noah, the new Daily Show host. OMG his round baby face.

Some decorative... mines?
By the way I have a TON of things to list but I have to finish editing real pictures and then write them all up and all that jazz so hold y'all's horses.
OK, that little pin with bubble pearl doesn't look like much here but irl you can tell it's absolutely ancient and exceptional. Tiny sterling charms, abalone on silver earrings, a shit ton of milagros.

I tried to lift this pendant to show the stone is sliced so thin it's translucent, but.

Adorable kitch. Oh and this was a thin, adjustable sterling ring which I've already reshaped into a bracelet connector. Also a button hook with gorgeous detailed engravings, a box clasp with- that's right- gorgeous detailed engravings and... is that lab-grown opal? cuz I know the design is totes 80s but it really looks authentically lab grown. Meaning way too clingy-perfect but if I removed those inlays and mixed it with some grungy something...
Phew.
OK.
So yeah.
Like I babbled in the vid, I have no way of saying thank you. Like, I literally feel embarrassed to say thank you it's so inadequate.  So instead I'm gonna say Duuuuhhhhh and stand there with my tongue hanging out of my mouth.

I just love (read: suffocate in my own jealous rage) when people send you stuff, it's always 3 times more amazing and 3 times more quantity than my entire stash. In one box! I gotta say though my antique dealer bones get all achey when you talk about taking stuff apart- can you just... with the stuff that's not broken or whatever, just research it and make sure you're not taking apart something worth lots of money, and then sell it instead? Hey it would help with your oversupply panic! it would also help me not cry. It's like when people cry because someone drew on a book. Even though I don't understand that, I'm like 'it's a book, whatever' but then you want to take the bands off those combs and I act like you just bombed London. I'm rambling.

OMG! How KIND of the woman to gift all of those incredible pieces to you! That is incredible. You truly hit the lottery with that hefty windfall! All kinds of artsy stuff there that I'm droolin' over. Please send me your leftovers, I'm not shy. That is absolutely wonderful for you! Lotsa luck with it all.
Have a ball turning those treasures into more magical creations for other people to love. I'm quite sure the owner will be looking over your shoulder with a huge smile.

I know this is months too late but is that a 1994 5 rand coin? What's on the front, an animal or a building? If the latter, you've got something extra special :)

Anonymous, if you mean the one with a square design stamped on it, it does say 1994 but I'll have to look for it to see what's on the front. Thanks for the heads up!
